Dear Ski Program Parents, We have fantastic news for you! Due to the in-equitability of the Ski Program paperwork being distributed, I was able to communicate with our Curriculum Coordinator, Mrs. Perry and she worked with the superintendent to transition funds in the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Grant. With the superintendent’s approval, Mrs. Perry will write an amendment for the grant. Due to this approval, we are able to provide fee waivers to ALL students, for ONE of the 2 sessions. This is ONLY for those students that have turned in their paperwork as of today. We will not accept any more “fees waived” paperwork. If you would like to sign your child up for BOTH sessions with payment for one, all payments must be made by Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Checks should be made out to “Hermon Mountain”, send payment to the school in an envelope labeled “Ski Payment”. If payment is not received by this date then your child will not be able to participate in the fee-based session. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please see the new email sent to each of you, to see the session your child has been granted through the grant. Ashlea Bourdon

We've received a number of inquiries about supply drop-off prior to the beginning of school. We will have a supply drop-off day on Wednesday, August 25 from 8:00-3:00. Tents and tables will be set up near the front of the building for parents to put supplies. Please make sure to label classroom supplies with the teacher's name so we can make sure they go to the right place! Where our PreK and Kindergarten friends have often not visited the school yet, the PreK and Kindergarten teachers will be available from 2:00-3:00 to "meet and greet" students near the supply drop-off. This will be a great opportunity for our youngest students to meet their teacher prior to starting school. We appreciate the support, flexibility and patience from our families.

Supply Drop Off
The Hermon School Department qualifies for annual federal funds through ESEA. As part of the process, the school assembles a team to analyze data and create goals for the upcoming school year. As part of the federal requirements, we must post the goals and allow for public comment. One way that we allow for public comment is to present the goals at a School Committee meeting, and the other way is to post them on social media. The survey (linked below) provides a list of our anticipated goals for 2021-2021, and a place for community members to provide feedback. Your feedback will be considered as we continue the annual application process. Thank you for your feedback and support! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdTWk3CloYWuN8bJ5K_D_0Z4rCtw8VoHVE0IlhTjJd7CcpRKg/viewform?usp=sf_link
